The Metro Gold Line Foothill Extension Intermodal Park & Ride Facilities project expanded transportation and parking infrastructure along the Gold Line corridor through the construction of four parking structures ranging from one to four levels above grade and providing a combined 1,321 parking spaces. The project also included surface parking, utility relocation, retaining walls, and a range of intermodal improvements such as bicycle facilities, bus pads and shelters, sidewalks, pedestrian crossings, lighting, traffic signals, and roadway upgrades. Two traction power substations were also constructed to support power and communications for the Foothill Extension.

CMI provided design-build HVAC and plumbing services for the four parking structures, delivering mechanical systems across more than 700,000 square feet of public parking facilities. The scope supported the ventilation and plumbing requirements of the structures while coordinating with the broader transportation, utility, and site infrastructure throughout the development. Delivered through a design-build approach, the project achieved LEED Silver certification and provided essential park-and-ride infrastructure supporting expanded access to the Metro Gold Line.
