The Symantec Fox Hills Corporate Campus is a 1.18-million-square-foot corporate office development in Culver City consisting of three four-story structures and a standalone 619,000-square-foot parking facility with 1,963 stalls. Developed on a challenging hillside site, the campus incorporated high-performance sustainability strategies including underfloor air distribution, high-efficiency HVAC systems, a water-side economizer, and variable-speed controls. The project achieved LEED Gold certification and was designed to deliver nearly 29% energy savings compared with California Title 24 standards.
CMI provided HVAC systems supporting the corporate campus and its six-level parking structure. The scope included mechanical ventilation for the 1,963-stall garage and coordinated HVAC infrastructure serving the larger office development as part of the design-build project. The mechanical systems contributed to the campus’s emphasis on energy efficiency, reliable building performance, and occupant comfort across the large-scale commercial environment.
